In the UK, Opel cars are traditionally sold under the Vauxhall brand, and there the new model will be called Viva. It is not yet reported under what name the model will be offered in other markets.

The Opel Viva will be based on the platform from the Chevrolet Spark, and the powertrains will be borrowed from the more stylish Adam compact. It is expected that the initial variant will be a three-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1 liter.

The model's premiere is scheduled for spring 2015, and the estimated price will be 11 thousand dollars.
