The original Land Cruiser 70 model was discontinued in 2004. Now it will return to the assembly line, albeit in a limited series. The company made this decision due to the steady demand for the model among Japanese buyers.

Marketers forecast demand of at least 200 orders per month. These are mainly off-road enthusiasts. The Land Cruiser 70 will be produced in two body styles – a four-door wagon and a double-cab pickup.

The revived Land Cruiser 70 has changed somewhat compared to its 30-year-old predecessor. Updates are noticeable in the radiator grille, hood, and lighting, and of course, the car is adorned with an anniversary emblem.
