The model is almost certified and has passed crash tests. That is, as the creators claim, it fully meets the safety requirements of the European Union.

In Russia, the car will cost from 409,000 rubles (approximately 149 thousand UAH). There is only one trim level – "Norma". It includes heated side mirrors, electric power steering, heated front seats, climate control, driver airbag, ABS and BAS systems, as well as an audio system with USB, Bluetooth and Handsfree support.

The engine, as is traditional for AvtoVAZ, is one – 1.6 liters, eight-valve, paired with a manual gearbox. The drive is front, but the ground clearance is increased by 2.3 cm. The tire profile is also increased.

Lada Kalina Cross is the first swallow in the lineup of compact crossovers from AvtoVAZ. Soon, in October, the "urban" modification Lada 4x4 Urban should be added, and a little later, in November – the "cross" version Lada Largus Cross.
