As befits teasers, these prototype images are presented so as to give a minimal idea of the new car. Nevertheless, its presentation is planned for the end of August at the Moscow Motor Show. That's when you can take a closer look at the concept car's exterior.
Judging by the available pictures, the new model is styled in the spirit of its predecessor, the Chevrolet Niva.

To emphasize the ruggedness and considerable off-road capabilities of the vehicle, it will be fitted with engine and front axle protection, a snorkel, a roof rack with a spare wheel, a light bar, and 16-inch wheels with off-road tires.
It is known that the production car should get a Peugeot engine with 135 hp and a displacement of 1.8 liters. Whether front-wheel-drive and automatic transmission variants will appear will depend on demand. Consumers can expect the new Niva by 2016.
