In the near future, a new car from LADA – XRAY should appear. It will be built on the Renault platform. As developers report, the car will be all-wheel drive.
Under the new name, two LADA cars will appear: XRAY SUV and XRAY. The cars must comply with European Union safety standards and Euro-6 emission requirements.
According to the manufacturer's plans, the cars are to go into production starting in 2016. Prototypes will be shown to the public at the upcoming Moscow Auto Show.
Experts note that the development of each model will cost AvtoVAZ approximately 4 billion rubles.
