A new product from the Italian manufacturer, which has been assigned the index 456, will reach dealerships only after a few years. Under its hood will be a six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging, with a displacement of 2.9 liters and an output of 500 horsepower. According to unofficial information, the Ferrari 456 may get both a manual gearbox and an automatic one.

In addition to work on this model, already in the next season the Italians will show a modernized version of the 458 Italia. Its power unit is an eight-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.8 liters, equipped with a pair of turbines, which will produce about 670 hp. Such a power plant is already familiar from the open-top California model.

Environmental requirements are forcing Ferrari to more actively engage in new technologies. By 2015, an updated version of the LaFerrari hybrid is expected. The total output of such a version will likely reach 1050 horsepower. The series will be limited to thirty units.
