For leaving an animal in a car under such conditions, a penalty is provided in the form of a fine ranging from 3400 to 5950 hryvnias. If the situation is more serious, it may threaten restriction of liberty for up to three years, as well as confiscation of the animal.
In the capital, in parks and squares, special drinking bowls for four-legged friends have been installed — they will function until the end of October to protect pets from overheating.
