In particular, from now on, taxi drivers are required to use seat belts. Previously, traffic rules allowed them not to buckle up. Drivers and passengers of operational and special vehicles, as well as people with disabilities, will now be able to travel without seat belts.
It is prohibited to change the shape and appearance of vehicle license plates. Moreover, license plates must always be clean.
Cyclists are now allowed to use dedicated lanes for public transport (previously this was possible on certain roads as an experiment). Pedestrians, when walking on the roadside or roadway at night, must now wear clothing with reflective elements.
Driving school students are now required to have a medical certificate for driving lessons.
In addition, a new road sign "Change of Surface" has appeared in Ukraine - it replaced the outdated sign "End of Road with Improved Surface".
