Currently, specialists invited from other enterprises of the VW concern are examining the cars to determine the nature and extent of damage to body elements and the paint layer. As they note, the glazing of the cars remained undamaged.
According to preliminary estimates, the company's loss amounted to 100 million euros. At the same time, Volkswagen states that financial losses will be fully covered by insurance companies that insured the plant's products against such incidents.
The consequences of the bad weather will also affect VW customers — they will have to wait longer for delivery of ordered vehicles.
