The jury of the European Car of the Year award consists of 58 press representatives from 22 countries. Each of them has 25 points to distribute among the competition participants at their own discretion. The voting results, as usual, will be announced shortly before the start of the Geneva Motor Show.
The winner of the previous, 2018 year in this competition was the compact crossover Volvo XC40.
