The stunt involved martial arts master Marcus Haas, Olympic archer Laurence Baldauf, and the "hot" Octavia Combi RS wagon.

Haas was in the car, leaning out through the sunroof, and managed to catch an arrow flying at approximately 215 km/h (60 m/s) with his hand. The archer was positioned 70 meters from the target. Since the arrow travels in an arc during flight, the zone in which the athlete could intercept it was reduced to 30 meters. Haas had only half a second to perform the stunt.

The Skoda Octavia Combi RS features a two-liter four-cylinder turbo engine producing 245 hp and 370 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The wagon accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds.
