According to the British press, Citroen does not plan to release a new generation of the C4 hatchback. This information was shared with journalists by Citroen CEO Linda Jackson.
The niche of the C4 model in the golf class will be taken by the recently updated "ex-crossover" C4 Cactus, which after the restyling began to be positioned as a standard hatchback. Attentive journalists noticed this replacement even from the first photos of the updated "Cactus", whose body did not have Cactus badges.
The production of the C4 model is planned to be completed before the end of autumn, and sales of its new successor will begin early next year.
