The ANCAP organization conducted a comparative crash test of the latest generation Toyota Corolla and the 1998 version.
Experts decided to compare the level of passive safety of cars produced almost twenty years apart. To do this, they conducted a crash test of two models.
The tests showed that the Toyota Corolla from the nineties did not earn a single star, scoring only 0.4 points out of a possible 16. The modern version of the model received the maximum five stars, scoring 12.9 points.
