There has been no official statement from the Bavarian manufacturer about the discontinuation of the 6-Series coupe, however, according to insiders, the two-door version was taken off the assembly line back in February. Nevertheless, sales of the model continue — dealers still have stocks of these cars in their warehouses.
At the same time, production of the “six” in the convertible version, as well as the Gran Coupe sedan, remains unchanged and continues.
According to unconfirmed reports, the freed-up production capacity may in the future be occupied by a revived two-door belonging to the eighth series.
