A Ford Mustang from the first pre-production batch released in 1965 has been put up for sale at the Mecum auction.
The model with VIN number 100002 is the first "Mustang" with a hardtop, while VIN number 100001 went to a convertible, now located in the Henry Ford Museum.
The second Mustang in history belongs to collector Bob Fria, who spent two years restoring the model to its original condition and now plans to get at least 400 thousand dollars from the sale.
The auction for the unique Ford Mustang will take place in May.
