The organizers of the European Car of the Year competition have named seven models that will compete for the prestigious title of Car of the Year 2017.
Among the seven finalists selected from 40 contenders were the following cars: Alfa Romeo Giulia, Citroen C3, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 3008, Toyota C-HR and Volvo S90/V90.
The jury will traditionally make the final choice of the best car in spring at the Geneva Motor Show.
The current holder of the Car of the Year title is the Opel Astra hatchback.
