The history of Renault in the film industry spans more than 110 years. Starting with the first film by the Lumière brothers, where Auguste Renault appeared behind the wheel of his 'voiturette', and the first film studios built in Billancourt from 1885 to 1898 near the Renault factories, the company has been closely collaborating with cinema for over a hundred years. Today, with the participation of a special fleet of Renault cars, 200 television programs and films are shot every year.

In 2014, Renault in Ukraine, for the fifth consecutive time, becomes the automotive partner of the Odesa International Film Festival. Participants and guests of the festival will be able to appreciate the comfort, attractive design, and reliability of Renault cars, which throughout the entire period will deliver their passengers to the red carpet, as well as to the venues of the most important events of the rich festival program.

The official car of the OIFF-2014 this year was the Renault Fluence. In addition, festival guests are introduced to Odesa with the help of the Dokker and the new Megane and Duster, test drives of which can be watched on our YouTube channel.

It is worth noting that AvtoPortal also visited Odesa in a Renault Logan, which came to us for a long-term test. We will share our impressions of driving the Logan over long distances soon.
