According to local press, the incident occurred at the beginning of the week, but what caused such consequences is unknown. The train consisted of 44 cars – some of them were scattered several meters from the railway track.

Judging by the photos, the cars were badly damaged. They will likely be returned to the factory, but not for repair: Ford will definitely want to remove the surviving components from the damaged pickups and vans. This especially applies to semiconductors, which are currently in short supply across the entire automotive industry.

As for the scene of the incident, according to forecasts from one of the railway workers, it will take several weeks to eliminate the consequences – cleaning up all the cars and vehicles, as well as clearing the area.

Recall that last month, a massive flood in Germany destroyed, in particular, a car dealership with new Audis and flooded several Porsches with zero mileage at a dealer lot.
