As company representatives state, the vehicle is designed for urban representatives of the "Millennial generation," that is, people born in the 80s.

Those who might like the pickup include young people preferring an active lifestyle - those who need the vehicle also for transporting bicycles or ATVs. For them, a sliding rear door was made in the back. This allows transporting long cargo, for which previously it was necessary to have cargo space like that of a mid-size pickup.

The electric drive of the rear cover is activated by pressing a button located on the body. Among other things, the cargo compartment provides many different fasteners.

The pickup is powered by a two-liter diesel power unit with 190 horsepower (torque – 406 Nm). The declared fuel consumption is within 7.8 l/100 km. Whether the Santa Cruz Crossover Truck will be put into production is unknown.
