The presentation of the new model took place 25 years after the debut of the first generation of the sports car. The next-generation NSX showcases the style, design, and technical characteristics of an Acura sports hybrid supercar with a mid-engine layout. The company has published key details of the design and performance of the new car and will begin accepting individual orders from summer, with delivery expected by the end of the year.

Created with the intent to bring "a new sports driving experience" to the supercar segment, the NSX challenges conventional notions of supercars, just as its predecessor did twenty-five years ago. This approach is realized through a completely new powertrain – a six-cylinder twin-turbo DOHC engine with a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and a triple hybrid electric system, combined with an ultra-rigid and lightweight body made of multiple types of metal. Developed under the concept of "a supercar centered around the driver," the design of this car is primarily aimed at driver convenience.

"Our intention was to create a completely new NSX, true to the NSX heritage – a supercar that provides a new driving experience where every detail of the car serves its smartest part – the driver," says Mike Accavitti, senior vice president and general manager of the Acura division. – The soul of the car is in its emotional connection with the driver. In the case of the NSX, such a connection is strong and immediate."

The legend representing the prestige and performance of the Acura brand, the NSX was presented at the auto show under the theme "performance born from precision," which echoes the original Acura brand slogan that guided the development of the first NSX supercar and is an important component of its presentation.
