Petrol cars: almost 40% of sales in October

Compared with October 2025, the share of petrol cars rose from 29.6% to 39.7%, i.e. by 10.1 percentage points. Together, petrol and diesel cars covered 64.4% of the new passenger car market.
Diesel models also strengthened their positions: they accounted for 24.7% of sales instead of last year's 18.6%. The share of hybrids increased from 20.6% to 26.7%.
Vehicles with LPG equipment remained the smallest segment. As in October last year, their share was less than 1%.
Electric vehicles in Ukraine: share decreased by 22.2 points

Electric cars lost 22.2 percentage points of the market compared with October 2025. In terms of sales share, they fell behind petrol, hybrid and diesel cars.
The most popular models in each segment:
petrol cars: Hyundai Tucson;
hybrids: Toyota RAV4;

electric vehicles: BYD Sea Lion 06 EV;
