In the first nine months of 2026, Ukrainians purchased 37,000 used passenger cars imported from the USA. This is only 0.3% less than in the same period of 2025. The average age of the imported cars was 6.2 years. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.

More than half of the cars imported from the USA are gasoline models. Electric vehicles take second place by share.
Top 5 by type of power unit:
Gasoline cars - 53%;
Electric vehicles - 26%;
Hybrids - 14%;
Diesel cars - 4%;
Cars with LPG - 3%.
Thus, gasoline cars and electric vehicles together accounted for 79% of all used passenger cars from the USA purchased by Ukrainians.
Most popular models from the USA: top 5 for nine months
The leader among used cars of American manufacture was the Ford Escape. The top five also included two Tesla models, as well as the BMW X3 and Nissan Rogue.
