In September 2026, Ukraine's vehicle fleet was joined by almost 4,500 diesel-powered passenger cars. This is 14% less than in September last year. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
Almost 1,000 of the registered diesel cars were new, and demand for them decreased by 6%. Another about 3,500 were imported used cars. Their registrations decreased by 16%.

Renault Duster became the most popular new diesel car of September. Its result exceeded the figure of Volkswagen Touareg, which took second place, by 93 registrations.

Skoda Octavia - 263 cars;
Nissan Qashqai - 254 cars;
Volkswagen Passat - 192 cars;
Hyundai Santa Fe - 145 cars.
In the segment of imported used diesel cars, the fight for first place was tighter. Renault Megane beat Skoda Octavia by only one car, and Nissan Qashqai lagged behind the leader by 10 registrations.
