In September 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was joined by more than 3,800 hybrid passenger cars of the HEV and PHEV types. Compared to September last year, demand for such cars grew by 44%. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
The share of new cars among the hybrids registered in September was 40%. A year earlier, this figure reached 52%. Ukravtoprom also named the most popular models separately among new and imported used cars.
Top 3 new hybrid cars in Ukraine
The leader among new hybrids remains the Toyota RAV4, which significantly outpaced the next two models in the number of registrations.
Toyota RAV4 - 316 cars.
Toyota Camry - 104 cars.
Nissan Qashqai - 75 cars.
Thus, two positions in the top three most popular new hybrids of September were taken by Toyota models.
Most popular used hybrids from abroad
Among imported used hybrid cars, the Ford Fusion US was in greatest demand in September. The difference between first and second place was only 13 cars.
