In August 2026, Ukrainians purchased 1,075 passenger cars imported from China. This is 56% less than in the same month of 2025. 790 cars were new, and another 285 vehicles arrived with mileage. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.

Electric vehicles accounted for 57% of August deliveries of passenger cars of Chinese origin. The number of new cars compared to August last year decreased by 61%, and used ones by 28%.

Among new cars of Chinese manufacture, the largest number of registrations was received by the BYD Sea Lion 06 - its result was more than twice the figure of the nearest model.
