The share of used cars from the USA in Ukraine has grown again by 8%: top-5 models

In July 2026, Ukrainians purchased over 5.2 thousand used passenger cars imported from the USA. This is 8% more than in July 2025. This is reported by Ukrautoprom.

Used cars from the USA: distribution by engine type

The average age of American cars with mileage that joined the Ukrainian fleet last month was 5.8 years. The largest share was made up of petrol cars.According to the type of power unit, imported passenger cars were distributed as follows:

• petrol cars: 49%;
• electric cars: 30%;
• hybrids: 15%;
• diesel cars: 3%;
• cars with LPG: 3%.

Top-5 models from the USA on the Ukrainian market

The most popular model was the electric Tesla Model Y. In total, the top five included four crossovers and one sedan:

1. Tesla Model Y: 500 cars;
2. Ford Escape: 465 cars;
3. Tesla Model 3: 450 cars;
4. Nissan Rogue: 365 cars;
5. BMW X5: 330 cars.
