In July, Ukraine's car fleet was replenished with 2.2 thousand new passenger cars with gasoline engines. This is 4% less than last year, but their share in the new car market increased from 35% to almost 39%. This is reported by «Ukrautoprom».

Most popular new gasoline cars: top 5 models of July

The leader among new gasoline cars was Hyundai Tucson. In July, 215 such crossovers were registered with Ukrainian license plates.

  2. Skoda Octavia: 166;
  3. Mazda CX-5: 157;
  4. Skoda Kodiaq: 138;
  5. Suzuki SX4: 111.

Used gasoline cars from abroad: Volkswagen Tiguan topped the ranking

Among used passenger cars imported from abroad, gasoline models also retained the largest share. In July, 12.4 thousand of them were registered, or 55% of all imported used cars. A year earlier, this figure was 10.8 thousand cars, or 48%.The average age of used gasoline cars registered in July was 9.5 years. The top five most popular models included:
  1. Volkswagen Tiguan: 852 cars;
  2. Nissan Rogue: 746;
  3. Audi Q5: 691;
  4. Volkswagen Golf: 650;
  5. Audi A4: 389.
