In the first half of 2026, Ukrainians registered 19.1 thousand passenger cars with hybrid powertrains (HEV and PHEV). This is 34% more than in the same period last year. The share of new hybrids in the total number of registrations decreased from 61% to 51%. This is reported by Ukrautoprom.

Most popular hybrid cars among new vehicles

Among new hybrids, the following models were in the highest demand:
  1. Toyota RAV4 - 1,770 cars.
  2. Nissan Qashqai - 601 cars.
  3. Toyota Yaris Cross - 511 cars.
These three models became the most popular among buyers of new hybrid cars in Ukraine in the first half of the year.

Used hybrid cars: leaders of imports to Ukraine

Among used hybrid cars imported to Ukraine, the top three are as follows:
  1. Ford Escape - 555 cars.
  2. Ford Fusion US - 470 cars.
  3. Toyota Prius - 460 cars.
The statistics show that in the new hybrid market, Ukrainians mostly choose modern crossovers, while among used cars, the highest demand is for models traditionally imported from the USA.
