In May, about 2.7 thousand passenger cars were sold — this is 2.15 times more than in April. Thus, for the second month in a row, the car market is growing almost twice compared to the previous month. At the same time, these volumes are still significantly inferior to pre-war ones: compared to May 2021, sales fell by 69%.
At the same time, the rate of decline since the beginning of the year is gradually slowing down — now the indicator is -61%. In total, from January to May, 15.5 thousand new cars were sold.
