The leader of the rating was the Volkswagen Golf: during the reporting period, 31,169 such cars were sold, which is 3% less than last year's result for the same months.
The second place was taken by the Renault Clio with 25,054 cars sold (+26%), and the bronze went to the Skoda Octavia — 22,569 units (+18%).
The fourth and fifth positions belong to the Peugeot 208 (20,520 units, +19%) and the Renault Captur (20,361 units, +39%). Next are the Peugeot 2008 (20,006 units, +56%), Volkswagen T-Roc (19,977 units, +12%), Opel/Vauxhall Corsa (19,902 units, +3%), Dacia Sandero (19,219 units, -8%), and Volkswagen Tiguan (19,204 units, -3%).
In total, the market reached 1,278,521 cars sold — this is 4% less than a year earlier for the same period. At the same time, July showed the best monthly sales dynamics for the current year, and also became the most successful month since September of last year.
