Elon Musk announced that starting Monday, Tesla will stop accepting orders for Model S and Model X with 75-kilowatt-hour batteries. Those wishing to purchase such electric vehicles still have the opportunity to place an order until the end of the week, that is, until Sunday.
The company will now focus on selling Model S and Model X exclusively with 100-kilowatt-hour batteries. In the US, the cost of such configurations starts at approximately 94 thousand dollars for the Model S and 97 thousand dollars for the Model X, which exceeds the price of the 75D versions by 18 and 15 thousand dollars, respectively.
