Data published on July 11 by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that in the first six months of the year, more than 14.05 million vehicles were produced in the country, and over 14.06 million were sold. These figures increased by 4.15% and 5.57% compared to the same period last year. Thus, in the first half of the year, vehicle production and sales continued to grow steadily.

Production of new energy vehicles amounted to 413,000 units, with sales of 412,000. Growth reached 95% and 111.5%, respectively. The ranking of the top ten automakers includes SAIC Motor, Changan, Geely, Dongfeng, Beijing Automobile Works (BAW), Great Wall, FAW, Chery, Guangzhou Automobile (GAG), and JAC. The total sales volume of these ten companies exceeded 5.94 million vehicles, accounting for 81.32% of total market sales in the country.
