The head of the Czech brand, Bernhard Maier (pictured), told the press at the Frankfurt Motor Show about this.
Skoda intends to produce at least 400 thousand cars annually at its Indian facilities. In addition, the company is studying the prospects of entering the markets of other developing countries with these affordable models.
Skoda's management expects to achieve its goals by 2021.
