Volkswagen plans to stop selling the Touareg crossover on the American market next year.
The reason for this step was a decrease in buyer interest in this model, as well as the appearance on the American market of the new Atlas crossover and a version of the Tiguan with an extended body, which will take the vacated position.
In 2016, 4,223 Touareg vehicles were sold in the US, while in the first six months of the current year, sales amounted to only 1,630 units.
