Newly elected US President Donald Trump criticized General Motors, which imports cars assembled at a plant in Mexico duty-free.
"General Motors is letting Chevrolet Cruze cars made in Mexico cross the border for free. Assemble them in the States or pay the full customs duty!" — Trump wrote on his Twitter page.
This message immediately affected GM's stock quotes: on the New York Stock Exchange, its shares fell sharply.
