Polish journalists from Gazeta Wyborcza decided to calculate which European countries' residents can buy a new car in a year, and which ones need to save money for more than 10 years. Unfortunately, it is not hard to guess that we Ukrainians have to save for a car longer than others.
To purchase a car worth about $15,000, the average Ukrainian resident must save money for at least 10 years. And to buy, for example, a VW Golf for $25,000, it will take 13 and a half years. For comparison, a German needs to save about 8 months to buy a similar car.
