According to experts from the consulting group A-95, the price of A-95 gasoline may rise by one hryvnia per liter in the next ten days. For diesel fuel, a less significant increase is forecast — about 0.5 UAH/l.

Market participants explain the possible price increase by the growth of the commercial dollar exchange rate, which has added 2.5 UAH since the first half of January. They also refer to the increase in quotations on the European fuel market.

If these forecasts come true, fuel prices will return to the level of early January — that is, to the period when the government first drew attention to inflated gasoline prices, despite the fall in oil prices.
