Lada 2109: prices and specifications

The five-door version of the VAZ 2108 model, production of which started in 1987. The car quickly became popular due to its practical and modern body (the three-door version was not liked by everyone). In 1991, the model was updated — the front end design was changed. Production ended in 2011.

Initially, the car was equipped with inline 4-cylinder 8-valve gasoline carburetor engines with a displacement of 1.1, 1.3, and 1.5 liters. In 1994, they were replaced by 4-cylinder 8-valve injection engines with a displacement of 1.5 liters. The engines were paired with four- or five-speed gearboxes.
