The compact city hatchback Ford Ka debuted in 1996 and quickly gained popularity in many countries, particularly in the UK, where demand for affordable and economical cars was growing at the time. The first generation offered a wide range of engines, including a 1.6-liter engine for the so-called sport version. In 2008, the second generation of the model was released. It was built on the Fiat 500 platform and received a completely new body and interior design, unlike its predecessor. The engine lineup consisted of two engines: a 1.2-liter gasoline and a 1.3-liter diesel, which were paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Drive — front.
