Technical capabilities
The "brain center" of the Vico-Opia 2 dash cam is a powerful Ambrella A12 processor, which, paired with a camera equipped with a 4-megapixel CMOS matrix, provides the ability to shoot in incredibly high quality 2K Ultra HD 2560x1440 HDR.
The F/2.0 aperture provides a 160-degree viewing angle, and the 6-layer lens ensures high video brightness at any time of day. In addition, the device has a 3D noise reduction function.

The flagship model is also equipped with a G-sensor that responds to emergency situations on the road, such as sudden braking or impact. When a hazard is detected, the recorder will automatically save the recording of the incident.
The already outstanding functionality of the Vico-Opia 2 dash cam can be further expanded with optional devices.
For example, the universal Vico GPS module will allow you to activate lane departure warning systems (LDWS) and forward collision warning systems (FCWS), and will also show current speed and GPS coordinates.
The anti-glare CPL polarizing filter, in turn, adds brightness and purity to the color gamut.
Ease of use
The Vico-Opia 2 model is quite compact and, if necessary, can fit in any pocket. Thanks to its small size, the dash cam can be taken from the car along with the suction cup mount that comes in the kit.

The kit also includes a short mount on 3M double-sided tape and a quick-release mount, from which the recorder can be removed with one hand without much effort.
The device body is made very neatly and with good build quality. The button layout is logical and convenient – the main functions can be controlled with one press. On the side there are outputs for connecting power and the navigation GPS module, as well as a memory card slot.

All information is displayed on a two-inch screen, which is intended primarily for working with settings, because viewing video on such a modest display is not very comfortable, especially in sunny weather.
Instead of a built-in battery, this model is equipped with a supercapacitor, which allows the device to start in severe frost (-20C) and in sultry heat (+60C), but the device is powered exclusively from the mains. The length of the cord allows you to place the recorder in any part of the windshield.
The Vico-Opia 2 supports MicroSD memory cards up to 128 GB. We advise using cards of at least 32 GB, since when recording in the "coolest" HDR mode, a 3-minute clip takes up 430 MB.
Video quality
Undoubtedly, the main advantage of the Vico-Opia 2 model is the excellent video recording quality. In the recorded material, you can examine in detail all road objects, car numbers, traffic light signals, and more.
Even a dirty windshield or bad weather cannot degrade the picture.
Dark time of day also does not affect the clarity and color reproduction of recorded clips.
In conclusion
The Vico-Opia 2 dash cam demonstrated excellent video recording quality, solid performance, and ease of use. In addition, the device can be supplemented with a number of useful accessories. The above factors fully justify the cost of 4590 UAH, which fully corresponds to the level of the model.

The dash cam was provided by the official representative of VicoVation in Ukraine.
