If you decide to visit Plug-In Ukraine on the weekend and meet friends there, don't arrange to meet near the Nissan Leaf – you'll get lost. After all, electric Nissans are the vast majority at the exhibition, and in any variety you want – from color to battery capacity.

Better to head straight to the electric "Tavria" – it's the only one in the pavilion (though there's another one outside). Specifically, this red example is the very electric Tavria created with the assistance of the Institute of Electrodynamics. Near it, you can find researchers who can tell you a lot of interesting things about Ukrainian electric cars…

By the way, the exhibition features a new electric car from Ukraine, which, nevertheless, first appeared in Monaco. This is the Synchronous electric car, which AutoPortal has already covered in detail. As they say, don't pass it by – the car impresses with its dimensions, which photos don't convey.

Fans of production electric cars that can be bought in Ukraine are invited to take a closer look and learn more about such "monsters" of the electric car industry as the aforementioned Nissan Leaf, the premium BMW i3, and Her Majesty Tesla.

In addition, the exhibition also features the electric Kia Soul EV, which previously debuted at the Capital Auto Show. Under the hood of the Kia Soul EV is a compact and lightweight electric motor producing 111 horsepower and 285 Nm, which accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in 11.2 seconds. The lithium-ion polymer battery, located under the cabin floor, has a capacity of 27 kilowatt-hours. The charging ports for the Kia Soul EV are located under a sliding panel that replaces the radiator grille. Let's add that thanks to a special indicator on the top of the instrument panel, the charging status can be monitored even from outside the car.

For those who already own an electric car, the high-tech tire will be interesting. The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 155/70R19 84Q model was developed specifically for electric vehicles and, above all, is designed to maximize the driving range of an electric car without recharging.

At the Plug-In Ukraine exhibition in Kyiv, electric bicycles, mopeds, and even motorcycles and ATVs are quite widely represented.

Moreover, some of the electric two-wheelers are Ukrainian developments!

And finally, for those who believe that the best can only be made with your own hands – the best place to visit and chat will be the area with homemade electric cars.

Among them are both non-existent models, even with solar panels, and converted production cars.

And what about the electric "Hunchback"?
In general, if you want to diversify your weekend, we recommend visiting Plug-In Ukraine in Kyiv.
