The first pickup in the history of Mercedes-Benz appeared in the summer of 2017. The X-Class model is built on the basis of the Nissan Navara, but differs from its Japanese counterpart in exterior and interior design. The pickup is produced exclusively with a double cab and offers an extended list of options, including LED headlights, surround-view cameras, and leather upholstery. Assembly of the vehicle was organized at the Nissan plant in Barcelona (Spain) and at the Renault facility in Cordoba (Argentina).
