The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG replaced the SLR-McLaren model. It debuted in 2010. The sports car is available in two body types: a coupe with gull-wing doors and a convertible with conventional swing doors.
The lineup includes several versions: the racing SLS AMG GT3, the SLS AMG "Blackbird", the open-top SLS AMG Roadster, and the electric SLS AMG E-Cell.
Under the hood is a 6.2-liter gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT, specially developed for this model. Drive is rear-wheel.
