BA (EBA, Emergency Brake Assist) (Emergency braking assistance system)

BA (Brake Assist) is an active safety system designed to assist the driver during emergency braking. It works in conjunction with ABS and EBD, and is also known by the abbreviation EBA (Emergency Brake Assist).

The system activates when the driver presses the brake pedal quickly but with insufficient force. To determine this, it analyzes the speed and force of the press. If the parameters indicate an emergency situation, the system instantly increases the pressure in the brake circuit, ensuring the most effective deceleration.
