EBD (EBV (Electronic Brake Variator), electronic brake force distribution system) (Electronic brake force distribution system)
EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) is an active safety system responsible for distributing braking forces between the wheels. It operates exclusively in conjunction with ABS and is also known as EBV (Electronic Brake Variator). The main task of the system is to achieve such a distribution of braking force across all four wheels that each of them has the best possible traction with the road. Thanks to this, during hard braking, the vehicle maintains directional stability, and the driver does not lose control of the car.
