CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission, Multitronic)

A variator (also known as CVT or Multitronic) is a type of automatic transmission that lacks fixed gear steps. While driving, it continuously and smoothly adjusts the gear ratio, providing acceleration or deceleration of the vehicle without jerks or pauses. Due to its design features, this type of gearbox is not yet designed to work with engines whose power exceeds 250 horsepower.
