Autostick (also known as Tiptronic, Steptronic, or Geartronic) is a type of automatic transmission that gives the driver the ability to manually select gears. To shift, simply push the gear lever slightly in the corresponding direction. In some variants, gear control is placed on paddle shifters or buttons located on the steering wheel.
