Yes, according to the State Fiscal Service, over the past months of 2015, about 350 Nissan Leaf electric cars were imported into Ukraine, most of which have defects but are declared as undamaged.
Some cars have defective batteries, but mostly these are vehicles restored after an accident. There are also "flooded" cars.
In addition to Nissans, if businessman Gennady Balashov is to be believed, out of the fifty Tesla cars imported into Ukraine, only 7 are intact and undamaged. The rest, according to Balashov, are crashed and broken electric cars without warranty.
