By the end of 2016, only electric vehicles should remain in the fleet.
The information was announced by Reznikov during the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the company Shooter.ua. It is this company that should supply electric cars for the secretariat of the Kyiv City Council.
By the end of 2015, the Kyiv City Council will receive 2 Renault Fluence cars on lease, and at the beginning of 2016, 3 more should be delivered.
The replacement is made to minimize fuel costs. The cost of renting an electric car is significantly lower than a gasoline one, by about 20-30%. The cost of charging five electric cars is estimated at 18,750 hryvnias per year. The maintenance of the gasoline fleet currently costs the Kyiv City Council 82,500 hryvnias per year.
