Renault KWID is an A-class hatchback designed for operation on roads with poor surfaces. The model debuted in India in May 2015 as a production version of the concept car first shown in 2014. Sales in India began in the second half of 2015.

The hatchback stands out with massive wheel arches, increased ground clearance, and plastic body cladding, giving it a resemblance to a scaled-down version of the Duster.
